The Holistic
Learning Camp for Committed Underprivileged Children (19th
Aug to 25th August, 2006) was not supported by any
professional donor agency and was run primarily on the basis
of communitys voluntary support.
The HEC was kind enough to provide an F-type vacant quarter
for the camp, a couple of cooks, and the HEC Schools
provided three teachers in three shifts who kept a watch on
children and maintained discipline and order at the camp.
Food grains and vegetables for running the camp came partly
from children themselves and partly from voluntary donations
in kind by certain individuals. The trainers were highly
qualified people who volunteered to teach and train the
children. Bharat Shodh and the HEC Education Department are
grateful to all such people for their generosity and
commitment.
